It’s the International Day of Charity, and as such, we think it’s important to shine a light on a charity we’ve sponsored before, for the inspirational and impactful work they do. Founded in 1990, initially starting in Vrindavan, India, before scaling and becoming a global effort.
Who is Gift of Hope?
Gift of Hope’s mission is to build schools, provide resources, and ensure all children in underserved regions, to ensure students in underserved regions have access to an education whilst remaining safe.
This is a community-based charity which looks to provide routes to education, constructing schools and supplying them with the essential equipment needed to be able to provide an education. So far, erecting schools and educational structures in Ghana, India, Uganda and Malawi, enhancing the quality of life for children in impoverished communities.
The Trust partners with other NGOs and charities which have aligned values, working in tandem across projects to make certain that these areas have access to education. This ensures that all profits made by Gift of Hope and other NGO’s, is all funnelled directly into the charitable work they do.
Fundraising initiatives
Rock for Hope is an annual fundraising event held by Gift of Hope; all the proceeds go towards charitable efforts. Their positive impact begins in the UK, bringing communities together to raise money for an incredibly important cause.
The next Gift of Noise event will be held on the 4th of October 2025, in Camden, London.
The trust also fundraises through events like golf days, capitalising on the passion and camaraderie for the sport to help drive contributions.
Gift of Hope even provides a list of ideas for those wanting to take matters into their own hands.
Why does supporting charity matter to Intelligency
Here’s what Intelligency’s director Sean had to say about the matter… “At Intelligency, we believe education is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Supporting Gift of Hope allows us to help create real opportunities for children and young people in underserved communities. Their work building schools and providing resources resonates deeply with our values, and we’re proud to contribute to their mission of giving every child the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.”
